Advanced Alarm Systems, Inc. offers
high-quality monitoring through our association with
Rapid Response.
They are a fully-computerized, UL-listed central station.
Monitoring enhances the protection offered by an alarm system because
operators are ready to respond to emergencies even when no one is in the
building. While the most common alarm signals may be for fire, burglary
and hold-up; water and temperature levels, mechanical failures and air
quality can also be monitored.
A monitored alarm system sends a signal over the phone line to the
central station that serves as the link between the protected site and the
responsible authorities. Trained operators respond to any emergency
signals by alerting the necessary people.
Commercial fire alarm signals require immediate dispatch. The standard
response to all other alarm signals is:
- Call the site to verify the alarm (the alarm can only be canceled by
someone with a valid Central Station Passcode).
- Dispatch the proper authorities.
- Notify the first available person from the call list.
Alarm verification calls are strongly encouraged to minimize
unnecessary dispatches, but procedures can always be customized to fit
customers' individual needs.
